The Beginning: Identifying the Gap in Wound Care Management
Healthcare is evolving, yet wound care management remains a challenge, especially in home-based treatments and long-term patient monitoring. While working in the medical field, I noticed that doctors, nurses, and caregivers often struggle with tracking wound progress, ensuring timely interventions, and maintaining comprehensive medical records.
The traditional process was inefficient—patients would visit clinics for recurrent assessments, leading to delays, miscommunication, and gaps in care. That’s when I realized: there had to be a better way.
This sparked the idea of E-Plaie, a digital platform designed to transform wound care management through AI-driven analysis, real-time tracking, and seamless communication between healthcare providers and patients.

From Concept to Reality: Building the Future of Wound Care
With my expertise in Product Management, UX/UI Design, and Medical Informatics, I designed E-Plaie to be an intelligent, user-friendly platform that allows:
- Medical professionals to track wound progression with AI-powered image analysis
- Patients to receive remote consultations and personalized care plans
- Healthcare teams to collaborate efficiently through a secure, centralized system
I took on full ownership of the project, leading everything from conceptualization and UX/UI design to platform development and business strategy. The goal was to create a scalable, innovative, and data-driven solution that ensures better patient outcomes and streamlined medical workflows.
Healing is not just about time, it’s about the right care at the right moment. E-Plaie bridges technology and healthcare to make every wound count towards recovery.

Overcoming Challenges & Driving Success
Launching E-Plaie was not without challenges. Convincing healthcare professionals to adopt digital wound care tracking required extensive research, testing, and demonstrations. Regulatory compliance, data privacy, and integration with existing medical systems were also key considerations.
Despite these hurdles, E-Plaie successfully gained traction among medical institutions and professionals seeking a more efficient, technology-driven approach to wound care. The platform is now recognized as a pioneering solution in digital healthcare, bridging the gap between modern technology and traditional patient care.
